Kew is a video queue built for minimal distraction and maximum intention. You connect the platforms you watch on, hand-pick videos into your queue, and watch them one at a time, in the order you chose. Kew cares about time well spent, not time spent. It never autoplays, never serves recommendations, and never tries to hold your attention longer than you meant to give it.

Kew connects to the platforms you watch on. Today that's YouTube and Vimeo, with more on the way. When you connect an account, Kew asks only to see the creators you follow, so they show up in your Creators tab. Kew never posts for you or changes your data on any platform. Your account status carries over: with YouTube Premium your videos play ad-free in Kew.

There are a few ways to add a video to your queue: from the Creators tab, open a creator you follow and click Add on any of their videos; from the Explore tab, search any topic or creator and click Add to queue on a result; or from the Queue tab, click Import to bring in videos from a YouTube playlist you made.

Maybe you're not feeling the video you're watching. Skips let you send it to the end of your queue for later. You start with 3 skips (5 with Kew+), and each finished video earns you one back, up to your max. The limit gives you a chance to pause before skipping, to increase intention and decrease distraction.

You can set your queue order however you like by dragging any video to a new position. Long-press and drag on mobile, or click and drag on the web. Once you start playing your first video, the top three 'up next' spots are locked in. Changes to your top three cost a skip, but videos anywhere below that can be reordered for free.

Shuffling randomizes the order of upcoming videos in your queue. It's a good way to mix things up when your queue has grown long. Shuffling does not count against your skip limit.

If you've decided you're not interested in a video, click Remove to take it out of your queue altogether. Removing videos does not count against your skip limit.

Already have a YouTube playlist you don't want to rebuild? Kew lets you import videos from an existing playlist into your queue. Click + Import, choose a playlist, select the videos you want, and they'll be added in order. Note: YouTube Watch Later playlists are not available. Only playlists you've created yourself will appear.

The Creators tab shows the creators you follow across every platform you've connected. Click any creator to see their recent uploads, then click Add on any video to drop it into your queue. If you've followed someone recently and they're not showing up yet, click Sync to refresh.

Explore lets you search any topic, creator, or keyword across the platforms you've connected, including creators you don't follow yet. Results include videos you can add straight to your queue, and creators you can Follow on the spot. There's no feed, no trending row, and no algorithm choosing for you. You search, you choose.

Surprise me! on the Explore tab picks a random topic and finds a video for you. If you like it, add it to your queue. If not, try again. It's a good way to break out of your usual watch patterns and stumble onto something you may not have searched for on your own.

You can set your username and photo from the profile screen. Usernames must be unique, contain only letters, numbers, and underscores, and are limited to 24 characters. Usernames are permanent and cannot be changed once set. Click your profile photo to upload a new one.

Kew supports light and dark mode, or can automatically follow your device settings. You can change your theme on the profile screen under Appearance.

Kew+ includes six color themes beyond the default light and dark modes. Each theme has its own light and dark variant, so your preferred mode still applies. To switch themes, go to your Profile tab and click Appearance.

To sign out, scroll to the bottom of the profile screen and click Sign out. Signing out does not delete your account or your queue. Everything will be waiting when you sign back in.
